The Forman's – A Beautiful Texas Modular Home Story
Lisa and Chuck Forman were teaching overseas when they decided to build a new home back in Texas, settling on Spur. They started their search online, and a visit to Spur to meet a Leland's representative and see modular homes already standing in the community gave them early confidence in the construction quality.
Most of the actual design work happened while the Formans were nearly 9,000 miles away, coordinated by phone and digital planning rather than in person. Lisa's specific requests — added lighting above the windows, larger closets, and particular interior layout touches — all made it into the finished home. "We did this from 9,000 miles away — and they made it easy," Lisa said, and the couple said they were impressed with the workmanship and the old-fashioned, honest way Leland's communicated with them throughout.
